We are looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to support our expanding development portfolio and protect the company’s interests in contractor disputes and litigation matters across Spain.
Position Purpose
Provide legal support for real estate development projects and ensure effective protection of the company’s interests in disputes involving contractors, construction quality, and project delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage construction and development contracts
- Monitor contractor compliance with contractual obligations
- Handle claims, disputes, and pre-litigation matters related to construction quality and deadlines
- Represent and manage court proceedings in Spain
- Work closely with technical, construction, and project management teams
- Provide strategic legal advice throughout the development lifecycle
- Strengthen and improve the company’s contractual framework and legal risk management processes
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of legal experience in Spain
- Strong specialization in construction law / real estate development law
- Proven litigation and court practice experience is mandatory
- Native or C2-level Spanish
- English level B2 or higher
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
