Hands-on with servers, racks, and cabling? We are currently looking to expand our network of trusted Data Center Technician contractors in the Madrid area.
Voxility is a well-known international telecommunications company that offers a wide range of services and is present in over 20 data centers across Europe, America, and Asia.
Main responsibilities
- Installing and/or configuring of IT equipment on behalf of Voxility in the agreed datacenters;
- Commissioning and decommissioning of servers;
- Power-cycling of routers, switches and servers;
- Installing and labelling Voxility-specified structured cabling;
- Testing of in-house carrier circuits;
- Providing visual verifications to assist remote troubleshooting.
YOU WOULD BE A GREAT FIT IF
It is essential to identify yourself as the person having all the following traits
- Hands-on experience in datacenter environments;
- Comfortable working independently on-site;
- Basic understanding of servers & networking;
- Reliable transportation within Madrid area;
- Good communication skills (English);
- Availability for pre-scheduled visits;
- Legally able to work as a contractor;
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment safely and work in confined or elevated spaces within the data center environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Commission
Pay: 50.00€ - 60.00€ per hour
