KEY RESPONSABILITIES
As a Tech Lead at Santander, you will play a key role in leading the design and delivery of secure,
scalable, and compliant technology solutions within a highly regulated banking environment. You
will combine deep technical expertise in Java with strong leadership skills to guide engineering
- Define solution architecture aligned with Santander’s enterprise standards.
- Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and risk frameworks.
- Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices.
- Lead design reviews and technical decision-making processes.
- Manage and reduce technical debt in alignment with long-term strategy.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architecture, Risk, and Security teams.
- Promote a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES
- 6–10+ years in backend development
- Preferably a university degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
- Java, Spring Boot
- Microservices
- REST APIs
- SQL / NoSQL
- Docker, Kubernetes
