Job Description: Looking for native Castilian Spanish (Spain) speakers to participate in a short-term voice data collection project aimed at improving speech recognition systems for electric vehicles (EV).
The task involves engaging in natural, improvised phone conversations with a partner using a dedicated mobile application (FunCrowd).
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you have already participated in this exact 2.5-hour conversation project in FunCrowd (either with our company or any other agency), please DO NOT apply.
Project Details:
- A total of 7 recordings will be made during the session.
- We will provide 18 topics to choose from. For each topic, you and your partner will improvise a 20-minute conversation via the FunCrowd app.
- The entire process takes about 2.5 to 3 hours in total, including setup.
- This is NOT script reading. Both speakers must contribute equally to ensure a natural flow. No single person should dominate or speak continuously for more than one minute.
Requirements:
- Native Castilian / Spain Spanish speaker.
- Access to a smartphone valued over 100 USD.
- A quiet indoor environment with a reliable WiFi connection.
- Recordings must be done like a standard phone call (holding the phone to your ear).
- Preferred: Bringing your own conversation partner is highly encouraged. If you cannot find one, we can match you with another participant.
Payment & Bonus:
- 40 USD per person (80 USD per group).
- Bonus: An additional 5 USD bonus per group for completing the project within 2-3 days with high audio quality.
