Animal Care & Facilities Assistant (24 Hours per Week)
Location: Los Montesinos, Alicante
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking individual with a genuine passion for animals and outdoor work to join our team at our facilities in Los Montesinos (Alicante).
Previous experience in a similar role, such as animal care, dog grooming, dog breeding, kennel management or animal training, will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service, primarily to international clients, particularly English-speaking customers.
- Daily care and welfare of dogs and cats housed at our facilities.
- Cleaning and maintaining kennels, catteries and other animal accommodation areas to the highest standards.
- General upkeep and maintenance of the facilities and surrounding grounds.
- Gardening duties, including lawn care, weeding, planting and general landscape maintenance.
- Tree pruning and other outdoor maintenance tasks as required.
Requirements
- A genuine interest in animal welfare and working outdoors.
- Good physical condition and willingness to perform manual tasks.
- Fluent English and Spanish are essential.
- Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an advantage.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Previous experience working with animals is desirable.
