PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This trainee position, reporting to the Global Supply Chain Planning & Purchasing Manager, is designed to provide hands-on experience within the Planning and Purchasing function. The role will support the team in the execution of key initiatives while developing practical skills in demand and supply planning, procurement processes, data analysis, and operational coordination.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the follow-up of purchase orders with suppliers, gaining exposure to supply chain processes and ensuring data is accurately maintained in the system
Assist in the analysis and tracking of inventory-related KPIs across Distribution Centers, developing analytical and reporting skills
Contribute to the identification of deviations and improvement opportunities, while learning how corrective actions are defined and implemented
Support the maintenance and analysis of replenishment parameters in the system, building an understanding of demand forecasting principles
Assist in reviewing vendor performance and highlighting relevant insights, gaining visibility into operational decision-making processes
Contribute to KPI analysis and reporting using standard tools (e.g., Insights), strengthening data handling and visualization capabilities
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical mindset with interest in data and problem-solving.
Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and systems (e.g., SAP).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
