In this role you will :
The Senior Indirect Tax Analyst will support the Global Indirect Tax Director in managing the Group’s global indirect tax obligations.
This position offers strong exposure to global indirect tax matters, systems, and cross-border transactions.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely compliance, enhancing tax determination processes, and driving continuous improvements in tax technology and data quality in a complex, high‑volume, multinational environment.
The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and external advisors, to address indirect tax risks and opportunities.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex tax requirements into practical business solutions are essential for success in this role.
Key responsibilities

Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare and support the timely and accurate filing of VAT, GST, and other indirect tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
- Assist with reconciliations between indirect tax returns and financial accounting records.
- Support responses to indirect tax audits, reviews, and information requests from tax authorities.
- Help ensure accurate accounting of indirect taxes, including identification and resolution of variances.
- Support e‑invoicing and digital reporting requirements (including data validations and controls).
- Advisory & Business Support
- Assist in analysing indirect tax implications of new business activities, products, and cross‑border transactions.
- Support the Global Indirect Tax Director with indirect tax input for business initiatives, system changes, and process improvements.
- Perform indirect tax research on legislative changes, with a focus on European and Spanish VAT developments.
- Prepare clear summaries and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
- Risk Management & Controls
- Help identify potential indirect tax risks and process gaps across the Group.
- Support the maintenance and improvement of internal controls and documentation for indirect tax processes.
- Assist in implementing elements of the Group’s indirect tax governance framework.
- Stakeholder & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with finance, accounting, IT, commercial and operational teams to resolve indirect tax issues.
- Liaise with external advisors to support compliance, audits, and technical queries.
- Provide day‑to‑day support to the Global Indirect Tax Director on reporting and analytical tasks.
- Technology & Process Improvement
- Support the use and optimisation of ERP systems for indirect tax compliance.
- Assist in data extraction, validation, and analysis related to indirect tax reporting.
- Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the indirect tax function.
The skills we would love to see in your suitcase!
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in indirect tax, preferably within a multinational group or professional services environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Tax, Law, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of VAT/GST principles; European VAT knowledge, Spanish VAT experience strongly preferred, and USA Sales Tax knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar); tax technology exposure is a plus.
- Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain tax matters clearly to non‑tax stakeholders.
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
