We are looking for a hands-on Security Specialist to support and strengthen InPost’s security operations across Spain and Portugal. This role will play a key part in ensuring the effectiveness of physical security operations, security systems, incident management, and coordination with both internal stakeholders and external providers across the network.
You will work closely with Operations, Transportation, Facilities, and Quality teams while acting as a key point of contact for all security-related matters within the Iberia region.
What responsibilities and objectives will you have?
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Security Department across Spain and Portugal.
Manage and supervise security service providers, guards, and auxiliary personnel to ensure service quality and operational coverage.
Oversee workforce planning, including shifts, substitutions, and team allocation.
Implement and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures across all sites.
Manage the lifecycle of electronic security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion systems, and alarms.
Lead incident management processes, investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.
Act as the main point of contact for law enforcement and judicial security requests.
Conduct security audits and monitor compliance with InPost security standards.
Produce security reports, KPIs, and dashboards to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Transportation, Facilities, and other business areas to support business continuity and risk reduction.
Well, what will the requirements be?
Valid Spanish “Director de Seguridad” license (TIP).
2–3 years of experience in security systems administration and operational security environments.
Hands-on experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion, and alarm systems.
Experience coordinating external security providers and field teams.
Knowledge of basic IP networking and security systems connectivity.
Strong incident management, reporting, and stakeholder communication skills.
Experience working in logistics, warehouses, or physical security environments is highly valued.
Advanced Spanish and high level of English for corporate communication.
Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI.
Availability for frequent travel across Spain and Portugal and out-of-hours support.
Nice to have:
Degree in Security, Criminology, Engineering, Law, or related fields.
Certifications such as ASIS CPP/APP, TAPA, or Wicklander–Zulawski.
Training in security installations or electricity.
Master’s degree in Private Security or Investigation.
