In Rheinmetall Expal Munitions, we are looking for a new Configuration Engineer to establish, implement, and govern configuration management processes.
Functions:
- Maintain and execute configuration management activities throughout the entire product lifecycle
- Ensure consistency between requirements, configuration baselines, and technical documentation throughout the system lifecycle
- Lead and coordinate engineering change management (ECM) processes.
- Perform configuration identification activities for both software and hardware products in accordance with defined procedures
- Ensure configuration documentation is properly maintained, controlled, and traceable in the PLM system in compliance with configuration management principles
- Basic knowledge of Configuration Management standards such as ACMP-2100, ACMP-2000, MIL-STD-973, MIL-HDBK-61B, ISO 10007
- General understanding of systems engineering concepts and product realization processes, including familiarity with ISO/IEC 15288 (Systems Engineering – System Life Cycle Processes), STANAG 4728 and MIL-STD-1521 (Technical Reviews and Audits for Systems, Equipment, and Computer Software)
- Experience with requirements and lifecycle management tools such as Siemens Polarion or similar systems
