Essential Job Functions:
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications to meet business requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements. Develop high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Participate in code reviews, contribute to the improvement of the software development process, and stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Typically, 5 years of relevant work experience in the software development industry, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role, demonstrating a strong foundation in software engineering principles and practices
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team, fostering collaboration and open communication to achieve shared goals and deliver high-quality results
Other Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++, and experience with agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms, with experience in cloud-based technologies and DevOps practices
- Certification in software engineering, such as SOFTWARE ENGINEERING 1 - Beginner, or willingness to obtain relevant certifications, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, and a strong focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations.
