Vertical responsible for the post-trade management of operational processes for BBVA products traded within the CIB (Corporate and Investment Banking) division, specifically within the Reconciliations team.
About the job:
Within the CIB Spain & Portugal Operations team, we are seeking a professional to join the Reconciliations & Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing the entity’s various reconciliations to ensure financial integrity and control across the area.
Core Responsibilities :
Preparation of responses to requests and inquiries from regulatory authorities.
Posting and validation of accounting entries to final ledger accounts.
Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
Support and participation in internal and external audit activities.
Required Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in reconciliation activities, including the investigation and resolution of reporting, accounting, and data integrity discrepancies.
Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
Strong teamworking and collaboration skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
University degree and high English language skills, both written and verbal.
