At Little Kickers Barcelona, we offer an introduction to sports in English for girls and boys aged 18 months to 8 years old. Through our “Learning Through Play” methodology, children discover the FUNdamentals of football in a fun and engaging environment.
We run family sessions, after-school activities, holiday camps, and birthday parties across Barcelona.
Role Description
We are looking for a SPORTS COACH to join our team immediately for a long-term position (with commitment to continue during the 2026/27 academic year).
The ideal candidate will have a native or high level of English, a passion for sports, and experience working with children. The role involves planning and leading psychomotor skills sessions and football-based activities for children during their early developmental stages.
We will provide full training to become a Little Kickers Coach, delivering Saturday family sessions, after-school activities, and birthday parties independently.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in sports coaching and/or education with young children
- Ability to create and deliver engaging sports sessions (training provided)
- Native or excellent level of spoken English; Spanish and/or Catalan is a plus
- Ability to motivate and inspire children and their families
- Passion for working with children and promoting physical activity
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Punctual, professional, and sociable
- Basic knowledge of football techniques, tactics, and rules is a plus
- Leisure and Sports Activities Instructor qualification is a plus
- Experience working in sports camps and/or arts & crafts camps is a plus
- First aid certification is a plus
- Valid permission to work in Spain
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging sports sessions adapted to different age groups
- Creating a fun, energetic, and positive environment for children and families
- Leading activities with enthusiasm, confidence, and professionalism
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants during sessions
- Maintaining good communication with the coaching team
- Setting up and collecting sports equipment before and after sessions
- Taking care of sports equipment and materials
- Encouraging children’s confidence, participation, and teamwork through play
- Building positive relationships with families and providing a great customer experience
- Following the Little Kickers methodology and session structure
- Supporting holiday camps, birthday parties, and special events when required

Availability Required
- Every Saturday morning (family sessions) during June and July 2026, and throughout the 2026/27 academic year
- Monday to Wednesday afternoons (after-school activities) during the 2026/27 academic year
- Possibility of part-time or full-time work during holiday camps (Summer Camp, Spring Camp, Winter Camp)
- Availability on specific days for birthday parties
