Physical commerce is one of MONEI's biggest growth bets — but instead of pushing traditional terminals, we're building it on software: MONEI Pay (our mobile + QR payment app), Tap to Pay on iPhone, and Tap to Phone on Android.
As Partner Manager for the Card Present / Retail segment, you'll grow MONEI's physical footprint across Southern Europe by partnering with the people who already work with the merchants we want: hospitality and retail ISVs, vertical SaaS for hair salons, taxis, freelancers and food trucks, billing software for dental practices and legal firms, and integrators who build payment flows for in-store and on-the-go use cases.
This isn't about selling traditional terminals. It's about getting MONEI Pay, QR payments, and SoftPOS into the hands of merchants through partners that already serve them.
Recruit and manage retail partners: vertical SaaS providers (hospitality, hair salons, taxis, freelancers, food trucks, dental, legal billing), regional POS/ISVs in Southern Europe, and integrators who build merchant-facing in-store payment experiences.
Drive partner-sourced revenue from physical-commerce merchants.
Build joint go-to-market plans with key partners.
Coordinate with our MONEI Pay product team to ensure partners can integrate QR payments, Tap to Pay (iPhone), and Tap to Phone (Android) into their workflows.
Train partner sales teams on MONEI's mobile-first physical payments offering.
Identify and unlock new vertical opportunities — activating the right partner can bring in dozens of merchants at once.
Track performance, run QBRs, and report partner pipeline.
Represent MONEI at retail, hospitality, and vertical industry events.
3+ years in partnerships, channel sales, or BD in retail tech, POS, hospitality, vertical SaaS, or payments.
Understanding of card-present payment flows (EMV, contactless, SoftPOS) and where mobile-first payments fit in.
Native or C1 Spanish + B2+ English.
Strong commercial instincts and relationship skills.
Comfortable explaining how a software-first payment solution replaces or complements traditional terminals.
Existing relationships with retail ISVs, hospitality SaaS, or vertical-specific software vendors in Southern Europe.
Experience selling or partnering in hospitality, retail chains, or franchise networks.
Familiarity with vertical-specific SaaS or POS platforms in Southern Europe (hospitality, retail, hair salons, taxis, dental, legal). Bonus if you've built or sold integrations to these.
Experience with SoftPOS, Tap to Pay, or QR-based payment products.
Experience with European acquiring or vertical-specific compliance (hospitality regulations, public procurement, etc.)
Hands-on with HubSpot (our CRM) and prospecting tools like Apollo or Store Leads.
