Your role
As Manager on Duty (MOD), you will be the operational leader on shift, ensuring the seamless day-to-day running of the hotel and delivering an exceptional guest experience across all departments. Acting as the main point of contact during your shift, you will coordinate operations, support department teams, resolve guest concerns, and ensure that our luxury service standards are consistently achieved.
What you will do:
Oversee daily hotel operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all departments
Act as the primary management representative on property in the absence of senior leadership
Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by proactively engaging with guests and resolving concerns with professionalism and care
Coordinate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Security, and other operational departments
Monitor service standards, operational performance, and guest feedback to ensure continuous excellence
Support and coach operational teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and service excellence
Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety procedures, and operational standards
Respond effectively to operational incidents and emergency situations, making informed decisions when required
Complete daily operational reports, shift handovers, and incident documentation
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and the overall guest experience
Who we’re looking for:
Experienced hospitality professional with a strong operational background within luxury hotels or lifestyle hospitality
Passionate about delivering memorable guest experiences and operational excellence
Confident leader with a hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and strong decision-making skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to remain calm and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative team player with the ability to motivate and support multidisciplinary teams
Flexible, adaptable, and committed to maintaining the highest hospitality standards
Requirements:
Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within luxury hotels or upscale hospitality environments
Strong understanding of hotel operations, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and guest services
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and guest recovery abilities
Experience working with hotel management systems (PMS); knowledge of MEWS or similar platforms is an advantage
Good understanding of hotel operational procedures, health & safety regulations, and quality standards
Fluent communication in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
Additional languages are a plus
Valid EU / Spain work permit
