Who We Are
OscarMobility is transforming how car rentals work. Instead of traditional rental fleets, we connect local car dealerships with people who need cars, helping dealers monetize idle inventory like unused loaner vehicles and slow-moving stock. Our "no cure, no pay" model means dealerships only pay when we deliver results.
The model works. We have more than 50,000 users across Europe and are now expanding into the U.S. The challenges ahead are big, and the opportunity to have real impact is even bigger.
The Opportunity
We are hiring a Product Designer (PM-Led) to own the full problem-to-prototype cycle at Oscar. This is not a classic PM or a classic designer role. You will define what we build, design how it works, and rapidly build POCs to validate ideas before committing engineering resources.
If you thrive at the intersection of product thinking, UX research, UX craft, and hands-on prototyping and you enjoy autonomy and direct impact, you will do well here.
Location: Remote / Málaga, Spain
Schedule: Full-time
Reports to: Head of Product
Day-to-Day
This role spans discovery, design, and experimentation. Expect to:
- Define user problems through lightweight research, analytics, and direct customer conversations
- Write clear product briefs and user stories with acceptance criteria engineering can act on
- Own end-to-end UX flows from journey maps and wireframes to high-fidelity Figma prototypes
- Design with systems thinking: maintain and evolve our component library and design tokens
- Conduct usability testing and iterate quickly based on real signal
- Build functional POCs using AI-assisted tools (Claude Design) to test ideas before full dev investment
- Run fast experiments ship rough to refine, not waiting for perfect
- Prioritize ruthlessly: what to build now, what to park, and what to kill
- Present work to C-level and commercial stakeholders with clear rationale, not just outputs
- Contribute to sprint planning and roadmap discussions alongside engineering leads
- Document product decisions and design rationale for async, distributed teams
This role requires someone who takes initiative, thinks ahead, and enjoys turning messy problems into elegant, tested product experiences.
