Our Automotive Terminals division operates across multiple strategic locations in Spain, managing complex port operations with a strong operational, industrial and multi-site footprint. With a growing organization and future European expansion ahead, our teams play a critical role in enabling efficient, high-volume vehicle handling while ensuring compliance, safety and operational excellence.
We are currently looking to hire an HR Business Partner – Automotive Terminals, based in Spain, to support our terminal operations across Sagunto, Motril, Autoterminal Barcelona, Pasajes and Vigo, with a current scope of approximately 160 employees.
Autoterminal Barcelona represents our largest and most complex site.
This role will combine hands-on HR operations, labor relations and end-to-end recruitment, acting as a key partner to the business in a demanding, fast-evolving environment.
Role Overview
In this position, you will act as a trusted HR partner to terminal operations, working closely with site management while ensuring alignment with corporate HR standards.
You will report directly to the Business (CEO Automotive Terminals), with a functional (dotted) line to Corporate HR in Abu Dhabi, requiring the ability to balance local operational realities with global HR governance.

Responsibilities:
HR Business Partnering & Operations

Act as the main HR reference point for Terminal Managers and operational teams.
- Support day-to-day HR needs in a highly operational, blue-collar environment.
- Ensure alignment between business priorities and HR frameworks.
- Adapt HR practices to local site realities while maintaining corporate standards.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (Core Focus)

Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for Automotive Terminals:
- Operational roles, supervisors, middle management and support functions.
- Support recruitment needs for Automotive Logistics where required.
- Partner with operations to anticipate workforce needs in a dynamic, volume-driven environment.
- Ensure a balance between speed, quality and operational urgency.
Labor Relations & Compliance

Manage and support labor-related matters in coordination with legal advisors:
- Contracts, disciplinary processes and employee relations issues.
- Ensure compliance with Spanish labor law and collective agreements (port/logistics environments).
- Act as a key point of coordination in audits, inspections and sensitive cases.
Employee Lifecycle Management

Coordinate onboarding, probation follow-up, performance and salary review processes.
- Ensure proper HR documentation and system data accuracy (HRIS).
- Support training initiatives and compliance requirements.
Stakeholder Management
Work closely with:

Terminal and Operations Managers.
- Corporate HR (Abu Dhabi).
- Shared Services and external partners.
- Operate effectively across multiple sites and remote teams.
Projects & Transformation

Contribute to the standardization of HR processes across terminals.
- Support organizational development and future European expansion.
- Drive continuous improvement in recruitment and HR operations.

- Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree in Human Resources or Labor Law is an asset.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (C1 level).
- 3–5 years of experience in HR Business Partner or HR Generalist roles.
- Experience in multinational environments or matrix organizations.
- Experience in logistics, industrial, or operational environments is a plus.
- Experience in regional/multi-country roles or managing multiple sites will be highly valued.
