ABOUT THE ROLE
Indirect Purchaser – Indirect Procurement (Activation & Sales)
Spain (Madrid) | Fluent English & Spanish (additional language is a plus)
Indirect Procurement role responsible for sourcing and negotiating Marketing Activation & Sales goods and services for our business units, ensuring the right balance of timing, quality and cost in line with business, regional and Suntory objectives.
Scope: Activation (POS material, promotional material, POS warehousing, brand & consumer activation services, etc.) + outsourced field sales service.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
1) Budget & Cost Optimisation / Performance Reporting
Deliver financial targets through negotiations and value optimisation projects
Negotiate T&Cs including price reviews with a TCO approach
Ensure robust reporting (KPIs, savings, supplier panel) to Procurement management
Partner with stakeholders in the budget definition process
2) Market Insights, Strategy Development & Business Partnering
Develop and implement strategies for the most critical categories (local and/or regional)
Support Global Procurement with category knowledge and insights
Monitor market evolution to identify risks & opportunities and share relevant insights proactively
Own and support the Source to Pay process ensuring compliance and stakeholder alignment
3) Compliance, Supplier Performance & Risk Management ️
Build strong supplier relationships; run regular business reviews and manage quality/KPIs/action plans
Drive risk management for your categories and escalate key risks with solutions
Develop alternative sourcing when relevant; build framework agreements locally and regionally
4) Continuous Improvement, Innovation & Sustainability
Be an active member of Procurement community and regional stakeholders
Build and execute a pipeline of value optimisation projects
Support ESG progress and company targets, bringing innovation from suppliers to the business

Must-have
University degree (technical or business); procurement specialization is a plus
5+ years experience in purchasing/supply chain
Knowledge/experience in Activation categories (preferred)
Strong negotiation, project management, analytical skills, and stakeholder management
Tools: Excel, PowerPoint & procurement IT tools
Fluent English & Spanish
