Description
At Xe, we live currencies. We provide a comprehensive range of currency services and products, including our Currency Converter, Market Analysis, Currency Data API and quick, easy, secure Money Transfers for individuals and businesses. We leverage technology to deliver these services through our website, mobile app and by phone. Last year, we helped over 300 million people access information about the currencies that matter to them and over 225,000 people used us to send money overseas.
About Xe
Xe is a cross-border payments platform. We help SMEs and consumers in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand collect, convert, hold, and send money across markets. Each year, over 300 million people use Xe for currency information and over 350,000 use us to send money overseas. Today, we're rebuilding the platform layer behind cross-border payments for corporate and consumer clients. We're small enough that your code ships fast and your decisions matter, and Euronet Worldwide (Nasdaq: EEFT) backs us so the problems stay real-scale.
About the role
We're hiring an Assistant Product Manager who owns defined features and areas of the product, from discovery through delivery, working closely with the Product Manager. You already use AI as part of how you think, plan, prototype, and ship.
You'll help own a product that moves money for Xe's customers in production, taking defined features and areas from idea through launch under the direction of the Product Manager, who you report to. Your squad owns a slice of the platform, from the customer experience through to the services and partner integrations behind it. You partner with engineering on delivery, bring data and customer evidence into decisions, and escalate the bigger roadmap and prioritization calls to the PM.
What you'll do
-
Own defined features or areas of the roadmap under the Product Manager's direction, taking them from spec through delivery
-
Support the Product Manager on roadmap and prioritization: write user stories and requirements, maintain the backlog, and keep delivery on track
-
Run discovery and analysis: talk to customers, dig into product data, and turn findings into clear recommendations
-
Coordinate day-to-day delivery with engineering, design, and compliance, unblocking issues and tracking progress against metrics
What we're looking for
Must-have
-
3 to 5 years of product or related experience (product management, product analytics, associate product management, or equivalent), ideally in fintech or payments
-
Experience owning features or product areas end-to-end, with a track record of shipping
-
Strong customer and partner discovery skills: validating problems and gathering evidence to inform what to build
-
Strong data and analytics skills: defining metrics, running basic experiments, and analyzing outcomes
-
Technical fluency: APIs, data flows, and system architecture basics, enough to partner with engineering
-
Comfort working across design, compliance, and partner teams in a regulated environment
-
Daily use of AI tools across product work (research, analysis, documentation, and prototyping)
-
Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to write clear requirements and work across functions
Nice-to-have
-
Experience with B2B or SME-focused fintech
-
Experience working with banking partners or payment processors
-
Familiarity with product analytics tools (Amplitude, Posthog, Segment, or equivalent)
-
Track record of zero-to-one product launches
-
Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, and knowledge of UX design best practices
