We are looking for a Treasury Specialist to join the Finance team, based in our Madrid headquarters. This position reports directly to the Treasury Director, works closely with Accounting and FP&A, and involves continuous, hands‑on collaboration with treasury teams across Europe.
We’re looking for an exceptional individual with experience in foreign exchange. The Treasury Specialist will demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly assimilate financial information, identify risks and opportunities, make sound decisions, and propose effective solutions to support cash management and financial stability.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage balance sheet and project FX exposures.

Reduce FX gain/loss volatility.

Handle spot/forward FX contracts and set translation rates.

Identify, analyze, and report FX exposures; oversee FX exposure reporting.

Own and manage Refinitiv Workspace, DataScope Select, FXall, and DTCC, ensuring vendor performance.

Reconcile DTCC & FX trades internally and quarterly with banks.

Optimize FX liquidity and foreign-currency investments.

Execute Money Market Desk deals, deposits, and handle loan renewals and documentation.

Update macro dashboards, deliver and analyze economic data for actionable insights.

Backup In-House Bank Specialist.

Administer Treasury platforms and manage user permissions.

Ensure covenant compliance and adherence to FX trading limits.

Keep bank documentation current (signature lists, powers of attorney, board resolutions, contacts, entity data).

Collaborate with other departments and the Treasury team.

Support other projects and lead digitalization initiatives within Treasury.
Job requirements
Background:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related field. Master’s Degree or MBA would be a plus.

At least 5 years of work experience or 2-3 years’ experience in FX Trading.

Fluent English. Other European language would be a plus.

Banking experience would be a plus.

Experience with a Treasury Management System and familiarity with Treasury operations would be a plus.
