About the role
Amazon Shipping Spain is just three years old — still a young, fast-moving organization with a startup mentality. You won't join a fully built machine but you'll help shape what it becomes.
You'll own the full sales cycle: building pipeline, identifying opportunities, and closing deals. There's no standard pricing playbook here — every deal is personalized. You'll design custom commercial proposals tailored to each customer's needs, negotiate complex agreements, and own the P&L impact of every deal you close.
What you'll get
- Startup autonomy backed by Amazon's scale.
- Influence on product direction based on what you hear from the market.
- Career growth in a business still defining its trajectory, with direct exposure to senior leadership.
- Cross-functional collaboration with Product, Operations, Finance, and more.
You'll thrive here if:
- You're energized by building and scaling, comfortable wearing multiple hats.
- You have a proven track record owning the full sales cycle — from cold outreach to closing and growing accounts. This is indispensable.
- You're a strong negotiator who can structure non-standard, tailored deals while keeping a sharp eye on profitability.
- You build strong relationships with customers and internal teams alike.
- You can find the best solution for a customer — even when it doesn't exist yet.
- You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. You don't follow the playbook — you write it.
- You shift naturally between strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Key job responsibilities
- Business development: Proactively hunt for new customers — self-prospect, identify targets, and bring them to Amazon Shipping. Acquire new package volume, ensure strong conversion rates, and do it all with profitability in mind.
- Customer relationship management: Establish and maintain top-level relationships with potential strategic customers who don't know Amazon Shipping yet.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with Operations, Product, and Tech leaders to manage the program and build a product that fits customer needs. This includes listening to customers, building new proposals, and influencing stakeholder teams.
- Dive deep: Measure performance, identify gaps and opportunities, and lead the wider team to address them.
