About us
We are Academia Happiness, a fast-growing independent academy with a fantastic reputation—and we’re not slowing down anytime soon! We’re proud to be a Cambridge Premium Preparation Centre, specialising in preparing students of all ages for success.
From our youngest learners (infants) right through to adults, we teach across all levels, including B1, B2, C1 and C2 Cambridge exams.
What really sets us apart, though, is our atmosphere. We’re a lively, upbeat academy where positivity, creativity and well-being are just as important as grammar and exam results. We believe students learn best when they enjoy the journey—and that applies to teachers too!
About the role
We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic teachers to join us for the 2026/27 academic year, working with a variety of age groups from infants to adults. We try our best to provide teachers with levels they enjoy and are comfortable with, but you can expect to teach some primary classes as well as teens.
Our core timetable runs Monday to Thursday, 16:00 – 20:40, giving you long weekends to enjoy. However, we are looking for candidates to also work Friday 16:00 - 18:00.
That said, we’ve recently expanded! We now offer extracurricular classes in local schools across Almería, as well as even more Friday classes, so there are additional hours available for anyone keen to take on more.
The salary would reflect the amount of hours taken on by any successful applicant.

What we’re looking for
- High level of English; non-natives are considered but should have relevant qualifications
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to be part of a team
- Must be eligible to work in Spain
- Previous teaching experience is an advantage
- Familiarity with Cambridge exam preparation is highly valued
