We pride ourselves on offering a diverse and dynamic shopping experience by bringing on board innovative brands across various categories. Located in Madrid, we work with teams from all over the world to build the e-commerce platforms of tomorrow.
The Role:
As a Risk Data Analyst, you are responsible for protecting the organization from financial, operational, and strategic risks. You will act as the technical bridge between raw data and actionable business intelligence, analyzing complex information to identify potential threats, quantify their impact, and empower the company to make informed, data-driven decisions. This position is critical for proactively managing risk and preventing potential losses.
1. Data Analysis
You will execute firmwide data strategies by analyzing diverse datasets, including financial statements, operational logs, and market trends. Your primary function is to scrutinize this information to identify current risks, uncover emerging threats, and detect patterns of financial crime. This analysis is critical for finding where the business might lose money or miss key opportunities.
2. Impact Modelling
You will develop and maintain sophisticated risk models to support forecasting and scenario planning. This involves determining the potential consequences of various business actions or market events by quantifying their financial impact. Your models will help the CRO team to assess risk appetite and make critical decisions with a clear understanding of potential outcomes.
3. Dashboards and Reports
You will be responsible for preparing and presenting detailed reports and interactive dashboards to the CRO, senior management, and key stakeholders. These reports will visualize key risk metrics, trends, and alerts, providing a clear and concise view of the firm's risk posture and supporting the effective monitoring of our risk management framework.
4. Tool Integration and Automation
You will play a pivotal role in enhancing our technical risk infrastructure. This includes working with various risk management systems, supporting their integration, and developing automated workflows for data collection, analysis, and reporting. The goal is to improve efficiency and ensure our risk detection capabilities are both scalable and robust.
5. Transaction Monitoring
As a frontline defense, you will conduct real-time analysis of financial transactions to identify and scrutinize suspicious activity. This hands-on monitoring is essential for preventing immediate financial loss and provides the foundational data that informs broader risk assessments and model development.
