ABANCA General Insurance is a non-life insurance company based in A Coruña (Spain), which was born in 2019 as a result of the Joint Venture signed between Crédit Agricole Assurances and ABANCA Corporación Bancaria for the development and joint enhancement of the business of marketing and distribution of certain non-life insurance.
The objective of ASG is the practice of general insurance operations, taking advantage of the knowledge and experience of Credit Agricole Assurance in the banking insurance sector and the distribution network of ABANCA in Spain. In 4 years, ASG has designed and implemented 6 different classes, which are marketed under the trade name ABANCA Seguros. At the end of 2023, ASG has 100 employees, a volume of €50 million of premiums and more than 100,000 customers.
ASG's current offering includes car, payment protection, home, business, health and death insurance and is customer-focused, offering customizable products, with optional warranties that enrich the base product, as well as covers that the customer can turn on and off whenever they need to (ON OFF).
