The CRS Training Instructor Supervisor role:
There is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a CRS Training Instructor Supervisor!
Within this role you will assist the Community Refurbishment Scheme (CRS) Project Manager in the effective day to day management of the Community Refurbishment Scheme.
You will also instruct trainees in the relevant trade up to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent standards. The supervisor will monitor and maintain the overall standards and quality of the work on-site in order to ensure high standards of workmanship whilst assessing the quality of work and level of skill achieved by the trainees on site.
Key duties and responsibilities of our CRS Training Instructor Supervisor:
- To assist the CRS Project Manager in the day to day management of the Community Refurbishment Scheme.
- To motivate and ensure high standards of workmanship of trainees.
- To be responsible for the allocation of work to and monitoring of trainees on a day to day basis.
- To ensure each trainee receives the relevant training (both on-site and classroom based) in accordance with their personal training programme to the appropriate level of NVQ or equivalent.
- To liaise with the relevant Training Agencies in order to devise and implement training programmes relevant to assessment of competence relating to appropriate NVQ or equivalent standards.
- To ensure on site production targets are met as well as ensuring the timely submission of trainee progression monitoring data is prepared and submitted to the relevant agencies.

What we’re looking for in our CRS Training Instructor Supervisor:
- 4ONC/NVQ Level 3 in building or relevant vocational experience.
- DTDLB (Training and Development Lead Body) D32/D33 training/assessment qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience in a construction industry trade and knowledge of housing stock maintenance.
- Experience of implementing and monitoring relevant Health and Safety / CDM systems.
- Ability to plan workload for staff and trainees on site in order to deliver training and production outcomes.
