Position Overview
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead new business acquisition and strategic growth initiatives in Spain and across Southern Europe. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the technology sector, experience selling consulting and technology services, and a proven ability to build long-term client relationships.
The BDM will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth while representing The Tekk Group in the local market.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
- Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
- Generate revenue through direct sales and strategic partnerships.
- Develop account plans and growth strategies for target markets.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closure.
Client Relationship Management
- Establish trusted advisor relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Understand client business challenges and align The Tekk Group’s solutions accordingly.
- Conduct regular client meetings and executive presentations.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Market Expansion
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
- Represent The Tekk Group at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
- Develop partnerships with technology vendors, channel partners, and industry organizations.
Collaboration
- Work closely with delivery, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Support proposal development, RFP responses, and commercial negotiations.
- Provide market feedback to help shape service offerings and go-to-market strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of business development, sales, or account management experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience selling technology consulting, digital transformation, IT services, staffing, or managed services.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Ability to travel within Spain and Europe as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network within enterprise, mid-market, or technology sectors.
- Experience working with international clients.
- Knowledge of cloud, AI, cybersecurity, software development, data analytics, or digital transformation services.
- Additional European languages are a plus.
