You will work closely together with departments such as B2B Architecture, EDI Developers and SMEs in other regions, offshore support teams, SAP SMEs, SAP Application Support, Network and Infrastructure teams, and European Customer Service departments.

THE ROLE
OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!
As our EDI Subject Matter Expert, you are responsible for EDI enhancement delivery. You are responsible for the processing and implementation of enhancement and change requests for European EDI messages. You work as a senior SME within the iWay B2B middleware team, coordinating development, performing quality assurance, providing high‑level support, and collaborating closely with global IT and business stakeholders.
You will be reporting to B2B Manager, and you will manage:
EDI enhancements and changes
- Implement enhancement requests for European EDI messages
- Clarify detailed business and technical requirements
- Coordinate required SAP change requests where applicable
New partner implementations
- Implement new European EDI partner requests
- Define and validate technical requirements for new message flows
- Coordinate SAP‑related changes when required
Support and troubleshooting
- Provide 4th‑level support for complex EDI processing issues
- Use appropriate ticketing systems such as ServiceNow
- Collaborate with offshore support teams on complex incidents
Development oversight
- Coordinate offshore development activities when applicable
- Review deliverables, unit tests, and quality of implementations
- Prepare solutions for customer testing
Cross‑platform contribution
- Support non‑EDI iWay interface enhancements when capacity allows
- Collaborate with A2A teams and other middleware architects
- Share knowledge across regions and teams
YOU ARE A COTY FIT
You like working on complex EDI and middleware integrations in a global environment.
As an experienced EDI Subject Matter Expert, you work methodically, take ownership, and get energy from working in a fast‑paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you:
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
- Have 3–5 years of experience implementing and supporting EDI systems
- Have strong knowledge of UN/EDIFACT and EANCOM standards
- Possess senior‑level experience with middleware platforms such as SAP PI, SAP CPI, WebMethods, IBM WebSphere, Seeburger, or similar
- Are fluent in English (other languages appreciated)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of TRADACOM and ANSI‑X standards
- Java programming skills
- Experience with iWay Service Manager development
- Knowledge of SAP iDocs, monitoring, configuration, and testing
- Basic knowledge of Windows servers, networking, firewalls, and AS2
- Understanding of SAP sales and distribution processes
