About the Role:
As a Secondary Languages Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire a genuine enthusiasm for languages across a diverse range of abilities. You will plan and teach high-quality lessons, using varied teaching approaches to meet curriculum requirements and individual student needs. You will set high expectations, support and challenge learners, and use data to monitor progress and inform your teaching. Alongside assessing and reporting on student performance, you will foster a positive classroom environment, uphold behaviour standards, and contribute to the wider school community through tutoring, extracurricular activities, and events. You will also play an active role in safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all students.
This is a permanent, full-time role, with a start date of 31/08/2026.
Who We Are Looking For:
You are a passionate and committed educator who enjoys working with young people and is motivated to raise academic achievement for all. You bring strong organisational skills, initiative, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. You have a clear understanding of effective teaching, learning, and assessment strategies, and you use these to deliver engaging lessons. You are adaptable, reflective, and committed to your own professional development. A recognised teaching qualification (such as a PGCE or equivalent) is essential, alongside a strong commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing.
