We combine unparalleled experience and specialized expertise across more than 40 industries, powered by the world’s largest network of Advanced Technology and Intelligent Operations centers.

We are hiring a Medical Affairs professional who partners with R&D, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs leaders in pharma, biotech, and medtech to help them build — scientific strategies, evidence-based positioning, MLR and governance frameworks, and Medical Affairs operating models.
You will sit alongside client leaders — not act as an external reviewer — bringing scientific depth, structured thinking, and AI-enabled ways of working.
This role also carries explicit market-development responsibility: opening and growing the R&D/ Medical Affairs offering across Iberia, using an established network in the local Life Sciences ecosystem.
What you will do
Partner with client leaders to build (examples)
Build scientific strategies and medical positioning alongside R&D, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs leaders — translating complex evidence into clear, compliant narratives.
Build benefit–risk frameworks and MLR governance that compress cycle times while preserving scientific rigor.
Build Medical Affairs operating models — organization design, capability models, and target ways of working.
Build evidence appraisal capability in client teams — RCTs, real-world evidence, scientific literature.
Build cross-functional alignment across Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Commercial, and agency partners.
Build adoption by upskilling teams on AI-enabled ways of working (literature surveillance, evidence synthesis, MLR acceleration, scientific narrative drafting).
Open and grow markets
Originate opportunities across pharma, biotech, medtech, and CROs in Iberia.
Leverage an established network of Heads of R&D, Regulatory, Medical Directors, KOLs, and industry associations
Shape the Medical Affairs offering — point-of-view, assets, thought leadership.
Build and lead a small team as the offering scales.
What we are looking for
PhD, PharmD, or MD in Oncology, Cardio-Renal-Metabolic, Pulmonary, or another major therapeutic area.
5+ years of Medical Affairs experience, partnering with Medical Advisors, R&D, and Regulatory leaders.
An active, demonstrable network in the Iberia Life Sciences ecosystem — relationships you can mobilise from day one.
Origination instinct — comfortable opening doors and converting trust into engagements.
Cross-therapeutic experience across multiple indications.
Hands-on experience within global MLR and Medical Affairs governance frameworks.
Strong scientific judgement and ability to critically appraise clinical and real-world evidence as a partner to client leaders.
Working knowledge of ICH, GxP, GVP, EFPIA, ABPI, PhRMA codes, and local promotional regulations.
Fluent English (C1/C2); Spanish and Catalan a strong plus; Portuguese welcomed.
Nice to have
Prior consulting or in-house Medical Affairs / R&D / Regulatory leadership in Iberia.
Track record opening accounts or launching new service offerings.
Visibility in the Iberia Life Sciences community (events, publications, industry bodies).
Exposure to AI applied to Medical Affairs and familiarity with platforms like Veeva Vault PromoMats / MedComms.
You partner with R&D, Regulatory, and Medical Affairs leaders to help them build, and use your network and credibility in Iberia to open and grow markets for a new offering.
