As a Telephone Operator, you will play a key role in creating seamless guest experiences by managing all internal and external communications with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency. Often the very first voice our guests hear, you will represent The Ritz-Carlton's Gold Standards in every conversation. Your responsibilities will include...
- Answering and handling all internal and external telephone calls promptly, professionally, and courteously.
- Directing calls and guest requests accurately to the appropriate departments.
- Providing guests with detailed information about resort facilities, dining venues, spa services, activities, transportation, and local attractions.
- Managing guest requests efficiently and following up to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Recording and delivering messages accurately while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.
- Supporting emergency communication procedures in accordance with established hotel protocols.
- Working closely with Front Office, Guest Relations, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Food & Beverage, and other departments to ensure seamless communication across the resort.
- Maintaining up-to-date operational information and internal directories.
- Ensuring every telephone interaction reflects The Ritz-Carlton's commitment to personalized luxury service and attention to detail.
- Supporting Front Office operations whenever required to enhance the overall guest experience.
What we're looking for...
- A warm, confident, and professional communication style with a genuine passion for guest service.
- Previous experience as a Telephone Operator, Front Office Agent, Guest Services Agent, Call Center Representative, or in a similar customer-facing role, preferably within luxury hospitality.
- Excellent multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to remain calm and composed while managing multiple priorities.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with different departments.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is essential; German or additional languages are considered a strong advantage.
- Good computer skills; experience with hotel property management systems is an asset.
- A valid work permit for Spain.
