Mission
The Project Quality/APQP Leader is a key contributor within product development teams operating in an Agile environment. The role ensures that products and solutions are safe, robust, reliable, and fully industrializable, from early design phases through production ramp-up. By leveraging Design for Safety & Reliability (DfSR) practices and Industrialization Quality fundamentals (APQP), the position aims to anticipate and mitigate design, industrial, and supply chain risks, ensuring the achievement of quality, reliability, robustness, and capability targets.
Main Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Leadership

Act as a quality reference for industrialization, safety, reliability, and robustness.

Influence and mobilize cross-functional, multicultural teams.

Support continuous improvement of quality methods, standards, and practices.
Industrialization Quality & Supply Chain (APQP)
-
Identify and manage industrialization risks impacting product quality across the supply chain.
-
Deploy APQP fundamentals within development projects.
-
Own and manage the component risk dashboard.
-
Lead PPAP activities with suppliers up to full component qualifications.
-
Perform supplier and process audits (VDA 6.3).
-
Lead PFMEA, define and implement Product/Process Control Plans.
-
Secure product and process capability, pilot runs, and process qualification.
-
Lead quality issue resolution during development and industrialization phases.
-
Ensure quality data and requirements transfer to manufacturing plants.
Appreciated complementary experience
Design for Safety & Reliability (DfSR)

Basic knowledge of DfSR process and Quality Fundamentals associated.

Understand the collecting of critical elements of the offer (CTQs).

Enable to participate in safety, robustness, and reliability risk assessments (DFMEA, risk analysis).

Potential to develop DfSR skills.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial.
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality (DfSR / industrialization quality / manufacturing quality).

Experience with APQP methodologies, and DfSR or DFSS (Design for Six Sigma).

Experience working in an agile product development environment.
Technical Skills
-
FMEA, p-diagram-based risk analysis.
-
Control plans.
-
Statistical and reliability tools (Minitab, Reliasoft, JASP).
-
PPAP, capability studies, Gage R&R.
-
Process audits (VDA 6.3 preferred).
-
Problem-solving methodologies (Six Sigma, 5 Whys, 8D).
-
Knowledge of industrial processes such as assembly, molding, stamping, or machining.

Basic metrology and standards knowledge (ISO 8015 is a plus).
Certifications (preferred)

Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), ISO9001.

Ability to manage change and work in multicultural environments.
Languages & Mobility

Professional proficiency in English.

Spanish language would be appreciated.

Availability for travel depending on project scope (approximately 25% of the time, cyclically depending on the projects’ phases, to visit the factories that host the new productions in the launch phase (Germany, Spain, France…)
