At Orbital Paradigm, we design, develop, manufacture, and operate reusable orbital logistics systems. Our spacecraft perform multiple orbital mission profiles and return safely to Earth through hypersonic atmospheric reentry and landing with pinpoint accuracy for rapid refurbishment and reuse.
We are looking for an intern to support the verification of structural designs and help with the design and ordering of flight parts, tooling and preparation of mechanical tests of our reusable re-entry vehicles. The role will involve hands-on participation in the testing, design, and integration of the structure of the Learn to Fly mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototyping and generating technical drawing

Support in mechanical design and simulation

Prepare and define test campaigns

Generating Structural analysis and post processing of results.
- Studies in Mechanical, Materials, Aerospace Engineering or a similar field.

Experience in Formula student, rocketry teams or similar hands-on engineering projects.

Hands-on experience in mechanical parts design, integration and testing

Knowledge of materials and structural analysis.

Critical thinking, autonomy, and attention to detail.

Ability to write clear technical documentation, procedures, reports, review material, and test records.

Full proficiency in English, written and spoken.
- Sound knowledge of structural simulation (dynamics and statics)

Experience with Design, integration and testing.

Experience in generating technical drawings as per ISO-1101

Experience with CAD software, manufacturing processes and rapid prototyping.
