The Inspector I performs basic inspection work in petroleum, petrochemical, gas, grain, oils and fats terminals and refineries; also performs inspection work on board barges and ships following industry standards and the procedures published by API, Fosfa, Gafta and Saybolt.
General Responsibilities
Inspector I, shall assist other inspectors from the department and Account Managers in his responsibility duties of the location.
Inspectors I, are responsible for the efficient work within the location, so that he can meet client needs accurately and in time.
Inspectors I, may work at different locations and on offshore operations as requested by the company.
The functions to be developed by the Inspectors, are mainly included within the port activity and sometimes offshore on high seas, so that the development and fulfillment of the functions of the description of each Job, including the specific service of standby, constitute a function of the job and are carried out within the ordinary working day, as long as they are carried out as effective working time.
Is responsible for and takes care of running the operation at the lowest possible costs, while meeting the requirements for safety, quality of service and maintenance of assets. Inspector I must ensure full cooperation with his department and his Managers on all assignments.
Must follow all company procedures as established by Saybolt and Core Laboratories, including but not limited to HSE Manual, Accounting Policies & Procedures, Saybolt Administration Instruction Letter, IT procedures, Ethics Policy, Saybolt Compliance Code, etc. Must keep himself updated and aware of all updates and act accordingly.
Inspectors I, reports directly to Inspection Account Managers.

Education and/or experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (general education degree).
- 1 year as an Inspector or related experience.
- Good verbal and written knowledge of local language and English.
- Proficient user of MS Office.
