As a Performance Marketing & Communications Manager, this role requires someone who can translate business priorities into focused campaigns and external communications that drive visibility, engagement, and commercial outcomes. The role brings together PR, social media, thought leadership, and campaign execution into a single, outcome-driven function.
You will shape how the Borders business shows up in the market across key channels and audiences. You will drive campaigns, manage external narratives, and position SITA as a credible voice on border technology with customers, media, and industry stakeholders. The role sits at the intersection of marketing, communications, and growth, with a clear mandate to increase awareness, support pipeline, and strengthen market presence.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing for Borders, you will be part of the Borders Marketing team. You will partner closely with product, growth, regional, and corporate communications teams to deliver consistent, high-quality campaigns and communications across global and regional priorities.

Own the planning and delivery of targeted marketing campaigns that drive awareness and engagement across key solutions and markets.

Manage campaigns across multiple channels, with a clear focus on performance, measurement, and business impact.

Translate business priorities into focused activity that supports pipeline development and commercial outcomes.
Coordinate and deliver external communications across:

New business wins

Op-eds and media placements

Product and people announcements
Work closely with corporate communications and external partners to maintain message consistency, content quality, and strong media presence.

Support CXO positioning across external channels.

Develop thought leadership content and support speaking, media, and engagement opportunities.

Focus content on market challenges and customer priorities to build credibility and visibility.

Own social media for the Borders business.
Plan and deliver content aligned to campaigns, PR activity, and thought leadership.
Monitor performance and adapt content based on engagement and reach.

Own positioning and narrative for key events, including Borders Summit.

Define messaging, themes, and content direction.

Ensure clear alignment between event presence, business priorities, and target audiences.

Track campaign, PR, and social media performance against defined KPIs.

Provide clear insights on what is working and where adjustments are needed.

Use data to guide decision-making and improve outcomes over time.
In year one, success means Borders has a clear and consistent external presence across campaigns, PR, and social media. Campaigns are running against defined priorities and delivering measurable engagement. Press activity is coordinated and aligned with business messaging. CXO visibility is growing through targeted thought leadership and external engagement.
In year two, success means campaigns are contributing clearly to pipeline and business outcomes. Borders is visible in relevant media and industry conversations. Social media reflects consistent, high-quality activity. Events such as Borders Summit have a clear narrative and impact. The business is recognized as a credible and relevant voice in border technology.
Qualifications:
A marketing and communications specialist with experience delivering campaigns and external communications in a B2B environment.
A strong writer and storyteller who can produce clear, concise, and audience-relevant content across formats.
Comfortable working across PR, social media, and campaigns, with the ability to connect activity to business outcomes.
Proactive and structured, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Experienced in working within a global, matrix organization and maintaining consistency across teams.

4 to 6 years in performance marketing, communications, or integrated marketing roles

Experience delivering campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, PR, and social

Experience coordinating external communications and media activity

Experience supporting executive thought leadership or customer engagement

Strong writing skills in English at a publication-ready standard

Experience tracking performance and reporting on campaign outcomes

Experience working with cross-functional teams in complex environments

Business degree preferably in Business or Marketing -Appropriate post-graduate qualification or MBA
