Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and BIM-aware Technical Designer responsible for developing technical designs to bring entertainment and design concepts to life. Strong technical knowledge will support the technical team in creating and developing projects of different types and scales.
You will be involved in all stages of the project — from Concept Design to Schematic and Detail Design — and will also collaborate with the Creative Department, ensuring alignment with design specifications and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with master planners, technical architects, and designers to understand project requirements and design concepts.
- Develop and contribute to the conceptualization of designs for the entertainment industry.
- Demonstrate excellent design and drafting skills, with proficiency in computer-aided design tools (Revit, CAD, Rhino, etc.).
- Ensure that design concepts align with technical specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams to integrate structural, engineering, and other technical aspects into the design process.
- Apply knowledge of materials, lighting, and textures to enhance the design.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the design and construction phases, if needed.
- Address client feedback and incorporate revisions into the design.
- Implement new technologies and trends to improve the quality and efficiency of design processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect or 3D Designer, preferably in a creative design studio setting.
- Experience in BIM modelling (especially Revit) is highly valued.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, SolidWorks, etc.
- Knowledge of architectural design principles, materials, and construction techniques.
- Ability to interpret concept art and translate it into technical drawings.
