What will you do?
As an Production Order Supervisor you will be responsible for the design of complex, order-specific low-voltage switchgear compartments. The role includes the preparation of scaled and manufacturing-ready arrangement, assembly, and layout drawings based on functional and constructive specifications, using Engineering Base (EB).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design of low-voltage switchgear compartments in accordance with technical and functional requirements.
- Creation and modification of templates or custom compartments.
- Preparation and updating of arrangement, detail, and assembly drawings.
- Generation of views and sections, and performance of plausibility checks (e.g., sheet metal technology considerations).
- Processing of design changes.
- Derivation of follow-up documentation for manufacturing within EB.
- Transfer of relevant data to SAP.
What do you need to succeed?
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field. A higher technical vocational qualification (advanced technician level) may also be accepted depending on experience.
- Proven experience in the design of electrical switchgear systems, particularly low-voltage assemblies.
- Experience in product design or detailed engineering within an industrial environment.
- Experience in engineering change management processes.
- Experience in technical coordination of design tasks is considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools, preferably Engineering Base (EB) or equivalent systems.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings.
- Solid knowledge of dimensional analysis and tolerance evaluation.
- Familiarity with sheet metal design and manufacturing technologies.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Ability to generate technical lists and manufacturing documentation.
