We are looking for a Software Engineer to support GCP enablement and provisioning services within the UCC ART environment. Your Responsibilities: • Backend Engineering: Design and develop high-performance APIs and microservices using Python (FastAPI). • Event-Driven Architecture: Design and implement asynchronous systems and data pipelines using event-driven patterns. • Serverless Application Design: Build and scale applications using GCP serverless technologies (Cloud Run, Firestore, BigQuery). • Identity & Access Management: Implement secure identity synchronization and lifecycle management via SCIMand Google Cloud IAM. • DevSecOps & Secure Coding: Apply security-first principles throughout the development lifecycle, focusing on vulnerability management and secure API design. • Automated Delivery: Orchestrate the software release process through GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines. • Technical Documentation: Maintain high-quality code documentation and API specifications. Technical skills: • Software Development: Expert-level Python (FastAPI) and asynchronous programming. • Cloud Native & Events: Experience with GCP and event-based messaging/processing. • API & Identity Standards: Proficiency in SCIM, OAuth2, and IAM protocols. • Security: Practical knowledge of DevSecOps practices and automated security testing. • Supporting Tools: Familiarity with Terraform and GitHub Actions for application lifecycle support.
