Your mission in our team
Joining our Process Automation department, your mission will be to develop customized, cutting-edge solutions for the automation of switchgear in traction power supply. You will play a vital role in translating complex customer needs into reliable, high-performing rail infrastructure systems that connect communities safely.
Challenges that await you:
Design and configure advanced protection and control devices, ensuring seamless data handling across the system.
Integrate diverse subsystems using industry-standard protocols like IEC 61850 and IEC 60870-5-104.
Set up station control parameterization and create intuitive visualization concepts.
Analyze customer tenders to deeply understand their needs and craft winning, competitive solution proposals.
Keep a close eye on project success by effectively monitoring deadlines, resources, and costs.
Lead internal and external acceptance tests, and empower our customers through engaging training sessions.
Collaborate closely with diverse teams, including sales, technical departments, commissioning engineers, and headquarters.
What will make your application stand out:
A solid educational foundation in electrical engineering, automation technology, or an equivalent technical background (such as a technician or industrial technologist).
Proven expertise in protection, automation technology, and visualization systems, showing your ability to navigate complex technical landscapes.
Hands-on experience in project planning with devices from the Sicam, Siprotec, or Simatic product families.
A strong grasp of communication, network, and transmission technologies, particularly the applications of IEC 61850.
Fluency in English to collaborate in our global environment, along with a readiness to travel around 20% of the time to connect with clients and sites.
You’ll thrive even more if you also bring:
Basic programming skills in high-level languages such as C++ and C#.
Familiarity with medium and high voltage electrical energy supply and related secondary technologies.
