Job Summary
Under direction of the immediate supervisor, the Specialist participates in the execution and coordination of manufacturing processes following quality, safety, and environmental rules. He/She interprets analytical data, may review existing procedures and methods and in some cases may write laboratory procedures. He/She performs and/or supervises a variety of routine and specialized tasks, prepares materials, reagents, and equipment, runs specialized laboratory tests and procedures for which he/she has been adequately trained, and compiles data. He/She performs and/or coordinates routine equipment and laboratory maintenance.
Specifically for this job, He/She will carry out an intensive follow-up of the lyophilization equipment both in its operation rutine and in possible preventive actions, as well as collaborate in research tasks related to lyophilization tasks.
Regarding the relation ship with others areas of the manufacturing services section, He/She will collaborate in those routine tasks and improvement projects for which He/She will be required.
