We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing the day-to-day accounting functions and supporting Finance Manager in ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities

General Ledger Maintenance: post journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data for local and global entities
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify transaction details, prepare payments, and manage accounts receivable collections.
Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
Expense Tracking: Monitor and record company expenses, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management review.
Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting principles.
Support Audits: Assist in the preparation of documents and schedules for internal and external audits.
Tax Compliance: Support the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties, such as filing, handling correspondence, and managing accounting records.
Finance Reporting: Assisting in Financial month end reporting
Finance Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of budget variances, meticulously identifying and elucidating the underlying factors driving deviations from projected figures
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP and IFRS for local and international entities.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: +2 years of experience in accounting or finance
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (experience with D365is a plus.).
Knowledge: Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support senior accountants as needed.
