General Summary:
The Senior Marketing Specialist contributes to the development, implementation, and measurement of marketing initiatives to support business objectives. The role involves managing projects of medium to high complexity, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with strategic brand goals. This position requires a strong understanding of marketing strategy and tactics, as well as the ability to provide insights and recommendations to optimize campaign outcomes
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages the execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business goals.
- Develops and reviews marketing materials, including digital assets, brochures, and presentations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with the brand’s voice.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including sales, medical, and finance, to ensure marketing initiatives are integrated and meet stakeholder needs.
- Liaises with external agencies to brief, monitor progress, and ensure the timely and on-budget delivery of marketing projects.
- Provides insights into market trends and customer needs to inform tactical planning and measure campaign effectiveness using metrics and reporting tools.
- Coordinates and supports medical conference plans, sponsorships, and event logistics, including engagement with healthcare professionals.
- Oversees the implementation of marketing systems (e.g., Salesforce, Veeva) to enhance campaign tracking and reporting.
- Indicate required certifications, licenses or specialized trainings.
- Ensures compliance with internal processes and external regulatory requirements in all marketing activities
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to understand the target market at a basic level
- Ability to understand key elements of brand strategy
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to manage and exchange information effectively across diverse teams.
- Proficient in computer-based programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with marketing platforms and tools such as Salesforce, Veeva.
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable recommendations to optimize campaign outcomes.
- Basic knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare policies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Willingness to travel for conferences, meetings, and stakeholder engagements as needed.
- Ensures compliance with internal processes and external regulatory requirements in all marketing activities
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as marketing, business, or scientific area
- Typically requires 2-3 years of experience in marketing or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is preferred.
