Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona is an exclusive 5-star hotel located on Passeig de Gràcia, in the heart of the city. The hotel features 120 rooms and suites designed by Patricia Urquiola, Michelin-starred gastronomy, bars, spa facilities, and exceptional event spaces.
Based at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, within the Finance Department, the Finance Trainee supports the Income Audit function and gains exposure to financial control processes that are central to hotel operations.
This role provides hands-on experience in revenue control across all points of sale, including Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Spa.
The Finance Trainee reports to the Finance Manager / Income Auditor.
- Generates the daily revenue report for the hotel
- Control over the F&B allocation for entertainments and discounts performed daily in the different outlets
- Review of the front office and spa adjustments
- Assist Income Auditor in the monthly Gift Certificate and Card inventories
- Performs the Open Table audit of outlet weekly
- Responsible for the preparation of daily House Account and Full Audit Summary
- Performs F&B Price Audit Variance Quarterly
- Prepare various reports as assigned by the Finance Department Stock control (lists and inventory)
As Finance Trainee, we expect from you:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with hotel systems is an asset.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
