At Aethos, we believe every meaningful connection starts with a story. We are looking for a Director of Sales to lead the commercial strategy for Aethos Mallorca, driving revenue growth and strengthening our position as a leading lifestyle hospitality brand.
This role will focus on developing key partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and maximizing performance across all market segments, while ensuring every commercial initiative reflects the Aethos spirit: authentic, curated, and community-driven.

- Lead the commercial strategy and sales performance of the hotel, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and revenue objectives
- Drive business across all key segments, including luxury leisure, MICE, groups, and corporate, maximizing occupancy and profitability
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase market share and strengthen the hotel’s positioning in local and international markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with travel advisors, agencies, corporate accounts, and key partners to generate new business opportunities
- Identify key demand drivers and create targeted action plans to capture business and optimize revenue performance
- Collaborate closely with the Revenue Management team to align pricing, forecasting, and sales strategies
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and performance data to adapt commercial strategies and identify growth opportunities
- Ensure strong visibility and representation of the hotel across all sales channels, trade shows, and industry events
- Work closely with the General Manager to align commercial priorities with operational excellence and guest experience
- Prepare annual sales budgets, business plans, and forecasts in line with the hotel’s financial objectives
- Lead and develop the sales team, fostering a proactive, relationship-driven, and results-oriented culture
- Proven experience in luxury hospitality sales and commercial leadership within a hotel environment, with a strong track record in driving revenue growth and market share
- Solid understanding of key hotel market segments, including luxury leisure, MICE, corporate, and groups, with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
- Strong background in luxury hospitality, with a deep understanding of the expectations, dynamics, and commercial opportunities within the high-end travel market
- Good knowledge of the Mallorca and Balearic hospitality landscape, with an established network of local and international industry relationships
- Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate market insights, trends, and performance data into actionable commercial plans
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing, motivating, and developing high-performing sales teams
- Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to connect with travel advisors, agencies, corporate clients, and key industry partners
- Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of hotel positioning, distribution channels, and revenue optimization
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with on-property operational teams, Revenue Management, and senior leadership
- Fluent in English; additional languages are considered a strong advantage
