We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team and support the implementation of European-funded projects, primarily under Horizon Europe and Erasmus+.
The role involves coordinating project activities, supporting technical and financial management, collaborating with international partners, and contributing to proposal preparation when required.
We are looking for someone who already understands the dynamics of EU-funded projects and is comfortable working across different thematic areas. Our project portfolio covers a wide range of topics, so curiosity, adaptability and a proactive mindset are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the implementation of Horizon Europe and Erasmus+ projects.
- Coordinate activities with international project partners and stakeholders.
- Monitor project work plans, milestones, deliverables and deadlines.
- Prepare technical reports and support reporting to the European Commission and other funding bodies.
- Support financial monitoring and periodic reporting in collaboration with the finance team.
- Ensure compliance with grant agreements and project obligations.
- Contribute to the preparation of project deliverables.
- Support the preparation of new European project proposals when required.
- Represent the organisation in consortium meetings, workshops and international events.
What we're looking for
Essential
- Previous experience managing or supporting EU-funded projects, particularly Horizon Europe and/or Erasmus+.
- Good understanding of both technical and financial project management.
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- English proficiency (minimum C1 written and spoken) is essential.
- Good command of Spanish.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under EU reporting deadlines.
- Adaptability and the ability to quickly understand new topics and project environments.
- Proactive, organised and solution-oriented approach.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project meetings and events.
Nice to have
- Experience preparing Horizon Europe proposals.
- Experience coordinating international consortia.
- Knowledge of European Commission funding rules.
- Familiarity with collaborative project management tools.
