Job Description
Credisur Finance Valencia is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Technician (Técnico de Cuentas a Cobrar) to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing incoming payments, monitoring outstanding balances, and ensuring timely collection of receivables. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and excellent customer service abilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accounts receivable records and customer account balances.
- Issue invoices, credit notes, and payment reminders accurately and on time.
- Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with customers regarding overdue payments.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Record and allocate incoming payments in the accounting system.
- Prepare aging reports and accounts receivable summaries for management.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to resolve payment-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting procedures.
- Support month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Accounts Receivable Technician, Accounts Assistant, or similar finance role.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP software.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
