Join Colgate-Palmolive as a Marketing Trainee and gain real, hands-on experience in a leading FMCG company. This 6-month internship (with a possible 6-month extension) is designed for students and recent graduates who want to build strong commercial, marketing and leadership skills while exploring their future career path.
You’ll be part of our local commercial team, working in one of our product categories and supporting activities such as new product launches, business analysis, project coordination and general business support.
As part of the Marketing team, your main responsibilities will include:
1. Event & Activation Support
-
Support in-store and online campaigns for key brands and launches

Help create and manage SKUs and FES codes (we’ll teach you how)

Prepare briefs for creative agencies for displays and point-of-purchase (POP) materials
-
Follow up on artworks (layouts, designs) until final approval
-
Assist with in-store activations (e.g., promotional events, special displays):

Coordinate materials from agencies and suppliers
-
Track deadlines and specific customer requirements
-
Update display plans and files based on timelines from Customer Development Teams
-
Support with free goods requests for promotions
2. Customer-Specific Marketing Materials

Brief agencies for ad hoc materials for online and offline customers, such as:
-
Leaflets, banners, social media posts (e.g., Instagram)
-
Product bundles and newsletters
-
POP materials, 3D visuals and other in-store tools
-
Follow up and give feedback on artworks until final approval
3. Content & Translation Support
-
Support e-commerce content creation and translation (product descriptions, icons, keywords, metadata)
-
Help adapt and translate digital content such as product pages and articles
4. Sales Materials Support
-
Help prepare and update sales presentations, toolkits and materials used by the Sales team with customers
5. Budget Tracking Support
-
Assist in monitoring and updating budgets for marketing activities and projects
6. Market & Data Analysis
-
Work with Nielsen data to prepare ad hoc reports and analyses

Help the team understand category performance, trends and opportunities
7. Competition Tracking

Monitor competitors on a weekly basis, collecting:

New product launches
-
Promotions and events
-
In-store visibility and key activities

Summarize insights for the team
Education & Experience
-
Currently pursuing or recently completed a university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) - Internship agreement is a must

Preferably in Marketing, Business, Management, Economics or a related field

Any previous internship or work experience (especially in marketing, sales, FMCG or agencies) is a plus, but not mandatory
Technical Skills

Excel proficiency is required

Fluent in English (spoken and written)

Other European languages are a plus
