We are looking for a highly analytical and structured Operations Excellence Associate to support AFC Operations in driving performance, efficiency, and operational scalability.
This role sits at the intersection of operations, analytics, and strategy execution, supporting leadership with data-driven insights, governance, and process optimization across Fraud, Sanctions, and Financial Crime operations.
You will play a key role in enabling operational decision-making, improving performance frameworks, and driving cross-functional efficiency initiatives.
Performance & Analytics
- Own AFC operational performance reporting (KPIs, SLAs, KRIs).
- Deliver monthly performance packs and executive insights.
- Support MBRs, committees, and leadership reviews with data analysis.
- Identify trends, risks, and efficiency opportunities.
- ️ Operational Excellence & Process Improvement
- Drive process optimization and harmonisation across AFC Operations.
- Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives and deep dives.
- Support design and rollout of new KPIs and operational frameworks.
Workforce Planning & Capacity Management
- Support forecasting, headcount planning, and capacity modelling.
- Partner with WFM and Finance to ensure operational readiness.
- Support remediation planning and resource allocation decisions.
Governance & Cross-functional Coordination
- Support OKR cycles, governance forums, and operational reviews.
- Act as interface between AFC, Finance, WFM, and other stakeholders.
- Support audit readiness and operational control documentation.
Project & Business Support
- Support strategic and operational transformation initiatives.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis for senior leadership.
- Contribute to automation and efficiency initiatives.
- 3+ years experience in consulting, operations excellence, strategy & operations, or banking operations.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Experience with KPI reporting, performance management, or process improvement.
- Advanced Excel; SQL / BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, Finance or similar.
- Fluent in English.
