About the role
We are looking for a practical, proactive and technically minded person to support the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of websites, platforms and digital tools.
This is a hands-on and varied role, ideal for someone with a problem-solving mindset who enjoys implementing digital solutions and working across different types of projects. We are not simply looking for someone to manage websites, but for a person capable of adapting tools and developing functionalities according to evolving organisational needs.
The role focuses primarily on WordPress development, e-learning platforms and lightweight digital solutions, while also supporting integrations, automations and technical improvements when required.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites.
- Implement website designs from Figma using Astra and similar WordPress environments.
- Configure, customise and maintain plugins (forms, newsletters, events, content management, etc.).
- Develop and manage Custom Post Types (CPTs) and dynamic content structures.
- Support the creation or adaptation of content management plugins and custom functionalities according to project needs.
- Implement and maintain online learning platforms (Moodle or similar LMS environments) for training activities and courses.
- Develop or support interactive digital platforms, such as matchmaking systems, directories, repositories or lightweight web applications.
- Integrate APIs and external digital tools where required.
- Develop simple automation or data-based functionalities when needed.
- Manage hosting environments, domains, backups and technical maintenance.
- Provide technical support for ongoing updates and continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing and managing WordPress websites.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Basic-to-intermediate PHP knowledge within WordPress environments.
- Experience working with plugins, forms, taxonomies, Custom Post Types and WordPress customisation.
- Basic understanding of APIs and digital integrations.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms (Moodle or similar).
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- English level: minimum B2.
- Availability for occasional travel within Europe.
Nice to have
- Experience developing lightweight web applications or digital platforms.
- Knowledge of Python, Node.js or automation tools.
- Experience with low-code / no-code tools.
- Basic UX/UI understanding and experience implementing Figma designs.
- Experience working with structured datasets (Excel/CSV).
