The Role
We’re hiring a Senior Account Manager to join our Corporate Communications & Reputation team in Barcelona.
This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who is comfortable operating in complex, high-pressure environments—advising on reputation, managing sensitive issues and driving strategic communications programmes end-to-end.
You will lead key accounts, act as a trusted advisor to clients, and work closely with senior leadership locally and across EMEA on multi-market mandates.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the day-to-day management of corporate communications accounts, ensuring strategic clarity and flawless execution
- Advise clients on reputation management, crisis and sensitive issues, with sound judgement and composure
- Develop and implement integrated communication strategies aligned with business priorities
- Shape corporate narratives, positioning and messaging frameworks for complex organisations
- Drive executive positioning, thought leadership and leadership communications
- Manage relationships with Spanish business and corporate media; Catalan media exposure is a plus
- Oversee media strategies, press materials, briefings and spokesperson preparation
- Support internal communications linked to transformation, culture and change
- Coordinate with EMEA and global teams to deliver consistent, multi-market programmes
- Lead and mentor teams, ensuring high standards, collaboration and accountability
What We’re Looking For
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate communications and reputation management, ideally within complex or international environments.
- Background in a PR agency or corporate environment with international exposure
- Proven ability to advise senior stakeholders in complex or high-risk situations
- Solid understanding of the Spanish media landscape (Catalan media is a plus)
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams with autonomy in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership, judgement and client management skills
- Fluent in Spanish and English (C1/C2 required); Catalan is an advantage
