At Amenitiz, we're on a mission to simplify hospitality management - empowering over 15,000 independent hoteliers to run smarter, not harder.
We're more than just another SaaS scale-up. We're revolutionizing one of the world's oldest industries. Backed by over $80M from top-tier VCs who support disruptive giants like Alibaba, Toast, Zendesk, Delivery Hero, Revolut, and Loom, we've been recognized as a TravelTech Titan and one of Wired's hottest start-ups.
From our Barcelona HQ, we turn bold ideas into real impact, ownership into innovation, and collaboration into results that matter - every single day.
About the Role
As Senior Training Specialist, you are the face of the Amenitiz Academy in your markets. You are the human layer that turns structured content into learning that actually sticks - delivering live sessions, owning the geo quality gate for localised content, and producing monthly market intelligence that feeds back to both the Academy and Product.
You are a high-energy trainer first. You read the room, adjust pace, push when learners need to be pushed, and listen when they need to be heard. You operate within a two-market scope that is wide by design - and you manage it through clear prioritisation: live training first, geo quality gate second, market intelligence third, content creation when bandwidth allows.
This role reports to the Manager of the Academy and collaborates closely with the Content Operations Specialist, department leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Your missions
- Live Training Delivery Deliver onboarding kickoffs, product training, certification gates, process rollouts, and complex launch sessions live, in native language. Design and facilitate sessions using varied teaching methods, adapting pace and approach based on learner progress and real-time feedback. If a week passes without live training delivery, that's a flag.
- Geo Quality Gate Review all localised content for your markets across every department before it ships. You are approving market credibility — not grammar. Catch tone breaks, terminology issues, register mismatches, and promises that create post-sale problems. If it sounds translated, it doesn't ship. Turnaround: 5 working days from receipt.
- Market Intelligence Produce monthly market intelligence briefs, covering regulatory changes, competitive moves, and market trends. This is signal, not paperwork — it feeds the Academy roadmap and informs Product. Both markets covered, published in the first week of each month.
- Geo-Specific Regulatory Training Own end-to-end training for market-specific regulatory requirements — e-invoicing in Spain, electronic invoicing in Italy. You are the specialist for these topics. Keep materials current with every regulatory cycle.
- Certification Gates Deliver live certification assessments — Starter, Practitioner, Expert — for learner cohorts in native language. This is not a quiz; you are the gatekeeper for quality and standards in your markets.
- Content Creation Contribute to content creation alongside the Content Operations Specialist when live training schedules leave capacity: writing modules, drafting playbook adaptations, building self-serve materials. Training delivery always takes priority — content is the second leverage point, never the first.
About you
- 2+ years in a Training Specialist, L&D, or enablement role, ideally within SaaS or hospitality tech.
- Native or near-native fluency in both languages required — live delivery in both languages is a core requirement, not a nice-to-have.
- Strong understanding of SaaS platform usage, with awareness of hospitality operations, guest experience, and hotel revenue management fundamentals (or a demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly).
- Experience designing and delivering structured learning paths that blend product knowledge with market-specific context.
- Sharp editorial judgment for localised content: able to identify tone breaks, register mismatches, and terminology issues that undermine market credibility.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills — comfortable in front of diverse learner cohorts, from new hires to senior operators.
- Analytical mindset: able to use session ratings, learner progress data, and quality metrics to continuously improve training delivery.
- Organised and self-directed, with the ability to manage two-market workloads, competing deadlines, and shifting training schedules without dropping quality.
