ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
At SITA, we have extraordinary things to say. We have technology that transforms how the world travels, research that shapes how the aviation industry thinks, and customer relationships built over decades.
The Creative Content & Storytelling Manager is the person who gives all of that a voice; across campaigns, formats, and audiences, in a way that makes people feel something before they think something.
Your creative influence reaches across the whole CMC function. You are the narrative partner to the campaigns team, the creative collaborator to the thought leadership function, the story architect behind every major customer success narrative, and the person who ensures our content program stays ahead of how audiences consume and discover content in an AI-mediated world.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Campaign narrative development
-
For every major campaign, you develop the narrative: the central creative idea, the story arc, the tone, and the emotional logic that makes every asset (from a LinkedIn post to an event keynote) feel like it belongs to the same conversation. You do this upstream of the campaign brief, in close collaboration with the campaigns & integrated marketing manager. They will define who the campaign reaches and how. You define what the campaign is really about.
Scripts, storyboards & visual storytelling
-
You write scripts. Not briefs about scripts, actual scripts. For video, for event presentations, for executive keynotes, for product demos, for customer story films. You understand that in visual storytelling, the image and the word are not separate decisions, they are one decision made together. You develop storyboards that give video directors and producers a clear narrative direction.
-
You are fluent in the grammar of different formats: what a 90-second LinkedIn video needs structurally is different from what a five-minute customer story film needs, which is different again from what a keynote presentation needs. You work with those differences deliberately.
Customer success story narratives
-
When SITA has a customer story worth telling (a major deployment, a transformation, a measurable outcome) you own the creative development of that story. You identify the narrative angle, direct or conduct the customer interview, build the story structure, and work with the writer to produce content across the formats the story warrants: long-form article, video script, social series.
-
A customer story produced by this function should do two things: make the customer proud and make the next buyer want to call SITA.
AI content programs
-
You are fluent in the creative use of AI as a content tool, not as a replacement for creative thinking, but as a force multiplier for it. You build content programs that use AI intelligently at scale, with your creative direction and editorial standards governing every output. You understand how to prompt effectively, how to edit AI-generated content to brand voice, and how to integrate AI into creative workflows without sacrificing quality or authenticity.
-
You stay ahead of how AI is changing content discovery and consumption for SITA's audiences, how airport and airline executives find and engage with content and you adapt the content strategy accordingly. That means understanding not just what we create, but how it is discovered: by AI-powered search engines, by recommendation algorithms, and by the tools that increasingly surface content before a human even types a query.
Content production direction for external partners
-
When SITA works with video production companies, scriptwriters, podcast producers, or content agencies, you are the internal lead they work to. You write the content briefs, you direct the narrative and tone, and you hold the quality standard on all content output.
Narrative frameworks by audience
-
SITA speaks to airport CEOs, airline operations directors, border agency technology leads, government procurement teams, audiences with fundamentally different priorities and decision-making contexts. You build and maintain the narrative frameworks that define how the SITA story translates for each of these audiences: what angle to lead with, what tone to adopt, what proof points resonate, and how to structure an argument for each reader.
